After an epic round of climbing last weekend with Aryesh and Jen in Rumney, NH, we invented a new cocktail. It’s called the White Mexican (or Horchata Russian). Basically, you mix the liquor of a White Russian:
– 1 1/2 oz Vodka
– 3/4 oz Kahlua
But then you throw in:
– 3/4 oz Horchata
Horchata, for those who don’t know is a rice/almond/cinnamon drink from Spain and Mexico. We all had several, and I can attest to it being a solid beverage.
In Rumney I took down Peer Pressure, which was a 5.10d (6b+). The whole thing felt really clean. It was a static and calm lead which just made me feel so tranquil. Immediately thereafter Aryesh and Jen send-sent it. Couldn’t have asked for a better day.
