Bibliographic Software for Linux

by Carson Reynolds

After a few recommendations I wanted to see if there was an EndNote or Procite clone available for Linux. The closest thing I could find available right now is Pybliographer. There are a number of primative tools for working with BibTex available as well. There’s also BibTex mode in Emacs. The USEMARCON project also seems relevant and has a Linux development kit. It also appears that OpenOffice has a piece of bibliographic / reference management software under development. As a last resort it seems you could try to get any of the windows packages working under Wine.
