My dream last night began with an African woman lying in the middle of a thick rain forest. A very absurd wild-kingdom variety British-announcer voice says that she has learned to sleep near snakes, and because of this she can protect herself. In the next blink I am laying where the woman was. There are large snakes slithering around and over me. I tell myself that if I can be calm, cold hearted, serene like the woman then they will not bite me, but will protect me. I cannot be that calm, I shudder and the snakes bite my hand. I woke up shocked.
