Be Off with Ye Now
by Carson Reynolds
When things are difficult, some people adopt a stoic philosophy. Others, like myself, move to a different continent. I am now the proud soon-to-be-tenant of an apartment in Dublin. All that remains is packing my things and adjusting to a different time zone.
I’ve somehow managed to give people the impression that I’ve traveled widely; an impression undoubtedly the result of my parent’s stories and library. Truth is that in my rush to get life with no chance of parole in academia, I’ve neglected my second education.
So now it’s to Dublin. I will pack everything but my sorrows.
